Youth and their adult assistants have roofed, plumbed, painted, landscaped, and built wheelchair ramps. They have installed drywall, flooring, insulation and wiring, framed houses, performed repairs, pruned trees, installed flooring . They have built playground equipment and cleared debris.

Each "It's Their Mission" trip includes a half day of recreation; the remainder of the week is hot, hard, complex, and demanding work. Groups have worshiped on a San Diego beach, atop 10,600 ft Sandia Peak overlooking Albuquerque and the Rio Grande River, and beneath cliff dwellings. Groups have celebrated Communion in special locations and in special ways, rafted the Animas River,  danced to the sounds of the San Diego Banjo Band, camped at the bottom of Canyon de Chelly, and learned to make Vietnamese Spring Rolls and Navajo Fry Bread.

"It's Their Mission" trips are funded by selling "Stock" in the trip; a share of Stock (in any amount - from $1 to $1000) entitles the Shareholder to 1) a pre-trip letter from one of the participants, 2) a postcard from the work location, 3) an invitation to a post-trip Ice Cream Social and Media Show, and 4) the knowledge that the Stock purchase made the trip possible. Click here to buy stock now!
