We have resumed in-person worship Sunday mornings at 10 am while we will continue online worship opportunities via You Tube and Facebook Live.
Currently, Pastor Deborah is pre-recording an abbreviated service including her sermon. It is usually posted to our YouTube channel by Saturday evening. We are also using Facebook Live to livestream the complete Sunday morning service. We are doing several things differently during our Sunday morning worship service in order that we might "do no harm" when it comes to mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
-Although masks are not required to worship with us, we ask that you consider wearing one for the protection of others. If you forget to bring one, they are available on a table as you enter. As Paul wrote to the Galatians, " My friends, you were chosen to be free. So don't use your freedom as an excuse to do anything you want. Use it as an opportunity to serve each other with love. All the Law says can be summed up in the command to love others as much as you love yourself." (Galatians 5:13-14)
-During Communion, servers will wear gloves and you are asked to come with open hands in order to receive the bread with a minimum of contact. Juice will be served in individual disposable cups rather than by intinction.
-Rather than passing an offering plate, we ask that you place your gifts in the fishbowl on the entrance table.
-We have not yet resumed our coffee fellowship time
